Homeowners observed large ice chunks as large as seven centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts announced that different parts across Queensland had been hit with substantial ice precipitation.

Tomorrow was predicted as the most rainy day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential anticipated across multiple regions of both states.

Medical authorities warned that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
